Dear Libby and John,
The surgeon forwarded to me the before and afters, and I am passing them on to you. Please feel free to use them to reassure others. I know how wary and unsure I was beforehand, but I need not have worried. I guess it's the British thing; we seem to perceive anything not done in UK is inferior. To my shame I was one of them, but now I know first hand why the Czech's are regarded as the best plastic surgeons in the world.
On all counts your service was immaculate. It could not have been better even if I went to Beverly Hills and paid a fortune. The nurse's first night looked in on me every ten minutes, and was so kind and caring. We became good friends in the end, and in some ways I was sad to leave. Some of the English they spoke was not perfect, but I always understood them and there kindness shone through.
