New Aptos^® breast lift procedure now available

A revolutionary procedure, which uses biocompatible barbed threads to lift the breast using no scalpel and causing no visible scarring, is now available for UK clients.

Europa International, the longest-established plastic surgery company taking patients from the UK to the Czech Republic, is delighted to be offering the non-surgical breast lift at its Prague clinic. Although not widely available in U.K our clinic has been offering the procedure for some 3 years.

Dr. Marlen Sulamanidze, the Internationally renowned cosmetic surgeon who devised the Aptos threads for face lift application, has developed the technique for use on breasts with moderate droop, and not too heavy, to both uplift and correct asymmetry. Aptos^® threads are inserted under the skin at different angles using an adapted hypodermic needle, which leaves only tiny entry and exit marks and these quickly heal. The threads, which have tiny spikes their entire length, are then activated to lift the excess skin to a more youthful profile.

Instead of the traditional breast uplift, which would include cutting the skin to enable the reduction of excess skin and cause inevitable scarring, the Aptos^® breast lift leaves no scarring as the skin is literally pulled tighter using the threads. Once inserted, the threads are then invisible under the skin.

It should be noted this procedure does not provide a permanent solution due to natural progressive drooping with age. Depending on the skin tissue around 5 years, although the procedure can be repeated. It's an idea procedure for perhaps someone in the glamour modelling profession where any visible scarring would damage their career. Or for someone who is unhappy with the pitch of their breasts but is not ready for a surgical uplift. The procedure involves a full general annaesthetic with 2 -3 days hospitalization. As the threads are anchored to the collar bone, there are substantial pain levels during this time (controlled by strong pain killers)
